Before starting these instructions, you need the IP address of the printer you are looking to add. 


CDK: Tap the "i" icon and then select "Ethernet" or "Wireless" if availiable. Otherwise, it should displayed on a sticker


Xerox: Tap "Device" > "About". Xerox Printers usually print out a starter page when powering on from a full shutdown which includes the IP address at the bottom page under "IPv4".


HP: Some models will display the IP address periodically. Otherwise, go to "Setup(Settings)" > Reports > Network Configuration.


Kyocera: Tap "Device Information"


Brother: https://support.brother.com/g/b/productsearch.aspx?c=us&lang=enEnter your printer's model number. Go to "FAQs & Troubleshooting" > Network Settings > Wireless Network Settings > Printer the Network Configuration Report


Epson: Press "Setup(Settings)" button > Wi-Fi/Network Settings > Confirm Wi-Fi/Network Settings. 


Lexmark: Some models with display the IP address periodically. Otherwise,  Setup > Navigate to TCP/IP, IP address, Network Status or Wi-Fi status. 


1. Click on the start menu and type "printers and scanners". Select the option that comes up.


2. Click "Add printer or scanner"


3. Once the list is done populating, scroll down and click on "The printer that I want isn't listed"



4. Select "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname



5. Click the drop-down menu under "Device Type" and select "TCP/IP Device". Next, Input the IP address of the device under "Hostname or IP address:"


6. Sometimes, you will be directed to select which printer driver you would like to install. 

For CDK Printers, select "HP Universal Printing PCL 6/PCL 6(v6.4.1)". 


NOTE: If you do not have HP Universal Printing PCL 6/PCL 6(v6.4.1) as options, Click "Windows Update"


FOR NON-CDK PRINTERS: The printer brand and model must match up to the correct printer driver. If you cannot find the right printer driver for the printer or are unable to download and install the correct printer drivers, submit a ticket request to add a printer to your computer.



7. If this is your main printer, select "Set as the default printer". Printing a test page is a good way to confirm the process worked. Select "Finish" to complete the process
